How to exchange email addresses in a public chat:

1. Make a throwaway email at, say, temp-mail.org (doesn't require registration)
2. Share that address with the other person
3. Exchange your PGP public keys (for verification against other malicious users)
4. They encrypt a message containing their real email address, with your public key
5. You decrypt it with your private key to verify
6. Confirm you both got the right emails
7. Save each other's email addresses
8. Eventually or permanently (e.g. when using temp-mail.org) ditch the throwaway, but it is advised to keep it for a while in case you'll need it again
